Pultruded I-Bar FRP Grating is manufactured using the pultrusion process, producing continuous fiberglass-reinforced I-shaped bearing bars with a high glass content. The bearing bars are mechanically assembled with cross rods to create a rigid and durable grating panel.
Compared with traditional rectangular bearing bars, the I-bar profile optimizes the strength-to-weight ratio by reducing material usage while maintaining excellent structural performance. This makes I-bar grating an economical choice for projects requiring long spans, high load capacity, and easy installation.
Available with gritted or smooth surface finishes, a variety of resin systems, and multiple panel sizes, Pultruded I-Bar FRP Grating can be customized to meet specific project requirements.

Features & Characteristics
Optimized Strength-to-Weight Ratio. The I-shaped bearing bars reduce overall weight while maintaining excellent strength and stiffness, making handling and installation easier.
High Load Capacity. Designed for long unsupported spans and heavy-duty applications, the grating provides outstanding structural performance under demanding conditions.
Excellent Corrosion Resistance. Manufactured with premium polyester, vinyl ester, or phenolic resins, it offers exceptional resistance to chemicals, saltwater, moisture, and harsh industrial environments.
Slip-Resistant Surface Options. Available with gritted or smooth surfaces to provide reliable footing in dry, wet, or oily environments.
Electrically & Thermally Non-Conductive. FRP material offers excellent electrical insulation and low thermal conductivity, enhancing safety in industrial and electrical applications.
UV & Weather Resistant. UV-resistant resin systems ensure long-term outdoor durability with minimal maintenance.
Low Maintenance. Unlike steel grating, FRP will not rust, corrode, or require painting, reducing maintenance costs throughout its service life.
Advantages of Concave Surface
The I-bar profile is engineered to maximize structural efficiency by concentrating material where it contributes most to load-bearing performance. Compared with rectangular bearing bars, it provides a higher strength-to-weight ratio, helping reduce panel weight without compromising durability.
