Saddle Clips are heavy-duty fastening clips designed to securely fix FRP grating panels to supporting structures. By gripping two adjacent load bars, they provide excellent hold-down performance, preventing panel movement caused by foot traffic, vibration, or uplift. Saddle Clips are suitable for both molded and pultruded FRP gratings and are widely used in industrial, marine, and corrosive environments.
Assembly: A standard Saddle Clip assembly consists of a stainless steel saddle clip, a hex bolt, a washer, and a nut. Self-drilling screw assemblies are also available for applications requiring direct fastening to the supporting structure.
Installation: Position the Saddle Clip over two adjacent load bars so that the saddle section fits securely beneath the grating panel. Fasten the clip to the supporting structure using the supplied bolt, nut, and washer, or a self-drilling screw where applicable. Tighten the fastener until the grating panel is firmly secured while avoiding excessive tightening that could damage the grating.
Material:Stainless steel 304/316
